What we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your bookings, analytics only with your consent, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

Sprint is a booking platform for athletics tracks and sports facilities. Sprint is a trading name of CDSJ Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17339930, whose registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.

When you use sprint, CDSJ Limited is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

For anything about your data, including the rights set out below, email privacy@sprintnow.co. For anything else, the help page is the fastest route.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and the sign-in method you use (email, Google, or Apple).

Bookings: the sessions you book, cancel, or get refunded, and the venues they are at.

Payments: handled by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

Location, only with your permission: the app uses your location on your device to show tracks near you. When you check in to a booked session, or turn on automatic check-in, we record where and when the check-in happened as proof of attendance for you and the venue. Automatic check-in only watches for arrival at venues you have booked, and you can turn it off at any time.

Profile photo: if you add one, we store it with your account.

Notifications: if you allow them, we store a device token so we can send you booking reminders.

How you found us: if you arrive through a referral link or enter a code, we remember it so we can credit the right person and understand what works.

Usage analytics, only with your consent: if you choose allow on our consent banner, we collect usage events and masked session recordings through PostHog to improve the product. Anything you type is hidden in recordings. If you decline, analytics runs without storing anything on your device.

Error reports: if something breaks, technical details about the error go to Sentry so we can fix it. These reports are configured not to include your personal details.

Messages: anything you send us through feedback or support.

Health data: when required, and never without your permission, we will ask for and hold health data.

Concierge bookings: when we book a track for you on its own system, we record the details the track's booking form asks for (your first and last name and, where required, confirmation that you are 18 or over), the track's booking reference, and the messages the track sends about your booking. We give the track a sprint. email address and phone number created for that booking, not your own. For each booking attempt we keep a technical log and screenshots of the track's booking pages so we can fix problems and resolve disputes. We never record payment card details in these.

How we use it

To run your bookings and payments, and send you booking confirmations and receipts. We need this to provide the service you asked for.

To improve sprint, using analytics you have consented to.

To keep the service secure, prevent fraud, and fix problems. This is in our legitimate interest in running a working, safe platform.

To respond when you contact us.

To make concierge bookings you ask for, and to handle the track's messages about them. We need this to provide the service you asked for.

We do not send marketing emails unless you have opted in, and we never sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

The venue you book: they see your name and booking details so they can admit you and run their facility. For concierge bookings, this includes the booking system the track uses (for example Acuity Scheduling or Wix Bookings). The track and its booking system handle your details under their own privacy policies.

Stripe, for payments.

The providers that host and power sprint: Supabase (database and accounts), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics, EU region), Sentry (error monitoring, EU region), and Resend (emails). Each acts under contract and only on our instructions.

GitHub (runs the software that makes concierge bookings), Anthropic (reads track emails about your booking so we can match them to it, and reads what you type when you ask sprint to find a session, so we can turn it into a search), and Slack (alerts our team when a booking needs a person to look at it).

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in. They are always on because the service does not work without them.

An attribution cookie remembers how you found sprint, for example a referral link.

Analytics cookies are set only after you choose allow on the consent banner. If you say no, nothing beyond the essentials is stored on your device.

Where your data lives

Our analytics and error monitoring run in the EU. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, the transfer is protected by recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Some of our providers, including GitHub, Anthropic and Slack, are based in the United States. Where they process your data, the transfer is protected by the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified under it, or otherwise by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active.

If you delete your account, your personal details are removed. Past bookings are kept for the venues' records but are no longer linked to you.

Payment records are kept for as long as tax and financial rules require.

Concierge booking logs and screenshots are deleted after 90 days. Track messages about a booking are kept for 12 months after the session, then deleted, apart from the booking reference, which stays with the booking record.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format.

You can delete your account yourself from your profile at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@sprintnow.co. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will let you know on the site or by email before it takes effect.
